Given that practitioners deal with the day-to-day issues affecting our island’s development, we aim to have you as the backbone of our content development. You are in a unique vantage point to suggest topics which need to be addressed to improve Puerto Rico’s business law and foster economic activity.
Issues will be divided into Articles and Practitioners’ Notes. Accordingly, there is no minimum or maximum page requirement. Practitioner’s Notes, which have a shorter and more limited focus than law review articles, have no fixed page length. We will be accepting submissions ranging from traditional business law topics, as well as issues relating to economic growth and development. Manuscripts should observe the following standards: Times New Roman font, size 12, double spaced, and footnote citation format that conforms to the 18th edition of The Bluebook.
With the expectation of forging long-term ties between the School, the Journal, and practitioners, as well as to facilitate the writing process, our editors are available to aid with research tasks.
We have a rolling submissions policy. Please send submissions via e-mail in Microsoft Word format to uprblj [at] gmail [dot] com.
The Journal is an adjunct to the University of Puerto Rico Law School Trust. The authors will retain the copyright of their respective articles.
Thank you in advance for your support and submissions.
